Allie's Totally 80's Dance Party!!!

Allie's birthday was a blast! She and her friends danced the night away! We did some Limbo, a few games of Twister and a Bubble Gum blowing contest! Everyone had a great time and totally go their 80's fix of food, candy, pop, music and accessories!!! Oh, what will she want to do next year?!?!

Allie turns 7!!!

Allie turned 7 on Monday! All she wanted to do was eat Jim's Wings and have cake and ice cream! Easy enough! We went to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa and had everyone over afterwards for cake and presents! She was a pretty easy birthday girl! Her party is this coming weekend! She is having an 80's Dance Party...you won't want to miss that post!

Poor Kayla......

Kayla came home from school Friday with a finger twice the size it should be, bruised and looking a little out of place. We waited until Saturday moring before taking her to Urgent Care to find out she had a broken pinky :( She is NOT happy about it because it is really limiting what she can do. She did it during P.E. playing rugby. No more playing any sports with hands for 3 or 4 weeks...good thing Soccer is a no hand sport!

Breakfast in the Mountains

Last weekend we did something we had never done before and it was a hit!!! We drove up the Poudre Canyon early in the morning, found the perfect site and made breakfast! Eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage and fruit...it was perfect! We were right by the river where the kids could stick their feet in and throw rocks! This is sure to become a new tradition for us:) Thanks to the Benson's for the great idea and for showing us how it's done!!!
