AI Sighting....

For those of you who know me...you know I love American Idol. Well, today while shopping at Barnes and Noble with my mom, there shopping in the Sexuality section was Ruben Studdard. And, for those of you who know me I am not shy when it comes to talking to famous people! I'm a dork, I know...but it was an exciting moment in an emotionally exhausting week!

Sad News

Today we had to put Riley to sleep. He was sick from the time we got him and after many trips and stays at the vet it was determined that he was not able to overcome his illness. We are very heartbroken and will miss him very much! We will always love you Riley!

Kayla's Birthday Weekend!

Kayla loves celebrating her birthday...luckily for her, it fell on a 3 day weekend. She decided she wanted to go to her Great-Grandparents house in Nebraska so we left Saturday morning, and had a couple days to celebrate. Great Grandma Dorothy had a yummy birthday cake made for her and made her all her favorite meals while we were there! We headed home this morning to have her birthday dinner with Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Kenny at Carinos. She also received a very special gift, Chrissa the new American Girl doll who is a swimmer. Her last celebration will be tomorrow at school! Happy 8th Birthday Kayla - we love you!!!

Kayla's 8th Birthday Party

Wow!!! Have you ever been in a limo with 10 kids??? If not, then let this be a warning! The kids had a TON of fun, my friend Amy Jo and I.....a little overwhelmed to say the least! But, it was a fun party....we took a limo to dinner at Hu Hot, Andy and Kelley met us there to help get the crew through the line, and then we drove around town awhile before dropping everyone off at home in style! It will be a birthday party to remember for sure!!!

Valentine's Day Parties

The girls had their parties today at school. They both had great activites and games to celebrate! Today is a fun filled party day for sure!
