Amy, Andy, Kayla and Allie
Tonight was a night the girls look forward to every year! It's the annual Butterfly Kisses dance at the Lincoln Center. Andy and the girls went with Kelley and Lauren. They girls looked sooo cute all dressed up and hair done. It's hard to believe how much they change and grow up in just one year....makes me a little sad! But, they had a great time at the dance and went out for dinner and ice cream afterward! They are already talking about plans for next year!
Last night was the sock hop at school. It is such fun night! The kids danced the night away in their poodle skirts! Aren't Allie and Cooper such posers??? So cute!
Ever since Inaguration Day Kayla has been working on an Obama scrapbook! She has completed the project and done a great job! She is very proud...I took just a few pictures to share...
Allie and her friend Cooper had a playdate today! They decided to make Riley a Prince...complete with a throne and crown! Cooper worked really hard on the crown and Riley make him proud by wearing it while napping on his throne!
So, it has been awhile since I updated everyone on the dogs. As you know, the girls got Riley for Christmas. He came home with kennel cough...not fun, but the kennel cough turned into pnemonia....really not fun. He spent a week in the vet hospital...very touch and go, but we are happy to say he is doing better each day! Today is his best day yet! He is playing with Max! I know it may seem strange, but the little guy has literally slept or sat on a lap the entire time we have owned him! Yeah, he is turning into a realy puppy!!!
Allie is star of the week in her Kindergarten. She worked very hard on poster and a book about herself. She took a couple American Girl dolls, a stuffed animal to share, her sister and her favorite book to have the teacher read to the class! It's a very exciting week for her!
Tonight was Kayla's best friend Lauren's birthday party and I was lucky enough to be able to tag along! It was at the Melting Pot! They had cheese and chocolate fondue......it was a great time!
We celebrated Andy's birthday at Sonny Lubick's Steakhouse. It was a mellow night considering he had just flown in from a business trip in Las Vegas. Our friends, the Axes joined us. It was a great evening and Andy had a very happy birthday!
Allie tried a rock climbing wall a few weeks ago at a birthday party....she loved it and has been begging to go again since. We took the girls to an actual rock climbing gym...and they BOTH love it and are qutie good at it! No fear...they both reached the top a couple times on different courses! I would like to think they will never want to try the "real" thing!
We celebrated New Years Eve with some of our good friends! We went to dinner and came back to our place for dessert and celebrating! The amazing thing was we all made it until midnight...okay that is just amazing for me, but it was a good time! Happy New Year to all!!
