Trick-or-Treat

The kids just left to go Trick-or-Treating with Andy, Kelley, Lauren, Cooper and their Uncle Sean as Indiana Jones! Max is dressed up as a Skunk because most of the time he stinks!!!

Pumpkin Fun!

We carved pumpkins this afternoon! Kayla carved a Haunted House and Allie carved a Skeleton Pirate! It was absolutely beautiful here today, temperatures in the 70's! I think this will be the first Halloween it hasn't been brutally cold, snowing, raining, windy or all of the above!

School Halloween Parties!!!

The girls had their school Halloween parties yesterday at school. They have the day off today so we can get all rested up for Trick or Treating tonight! It was a busy day for sure, but they both had a ton of fun with their classes!

BARACK OBAMA!!!

We were sooo lucky to see Barack Obama today right here in Fort Collins!!! We heard on Thursday afternoon that he would be here and we had to jump at the opportunity! Kayla has a huge facination with Presidents and has for quite some time. She made a decision a long time ago that if she could vote, Barack would be her man! She has read books about him and asked lots of questions! So, needless to say - we just had to go be a part of history in the making! We had a great time, we hear there were about 50,000 in attendance. We got there at 10:00 this moring and he got there at 3:30. It was a long afternoon, but well worth the wait! My mom came along which was a huge help because Allie got a little tired.....but it was a great time had by all!!!

Treatsylvania

We went to Treatsylvania at the Farm in Fort Collins tonight! They decorate the farm for Halloween and all the kids walk around and Trick-or-Treat and go for a Hayride! The kids had a ton of fun. We went with our friends, the Axes. Lauren was a Nebraska Football Player and Cooper was the Black Spiderman! Kayla was a Hippie and a cute one if I might add! Allie was a Witch, and as the pictures show she was trying to be as spooky as possible! By the end of the night she was really sick of the face paint, so for school I think we will go for the "pretty" witch look!

Last Soccer Game of the Season!

Kayla had her last soccer game of the season today! It unfortunatley didn't end with a win...but they played good! It is always nice when soccer comes to an end! (for us parents!!!)

Day off School

The girls had the last couple days off school for parent teacher conferences. Today they spent hours dressing up all their American Girl dolls for Halloween. It was quite a process, but now they are all ready for the big day!!!

Day at the Museum!!!

We went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science on Saturday after a cold and wet 8:30am soccer game! The girls had a great time. They loved watching a movie at the planetarium and learing about dinosaurs. We wrapped up the day with a little dinner and shopping at Cherry Creek Mall and headed home!

Rosie the Tarantula

Rosie the Tarantula visited school tonight. Allie was brave and held her and also held some cockroaches. Kayla and I both stayed far away from them!!!
