Kayla's Swim Meet

Kayla had her first swim meet of the summer today! She did a great job! Her medley relay came in 2nd. She got 1st in the 25 Freestyle and the 25 Butterfly for the 8 and under girls! They had to call the meet early because of bad weather, but she was happy with her results! The video that is attached is her 25 Freestyle race...

Alliance and Black Hills all in a weekend!

We went to Alliance on Friday to suprise my Grandma for her birthday! We went to dinner and came back to their house for cake and ice cream! On Saturday we decided to go see Mt. Rushmore! Kayla loves learning about the presidents so she loved it there! We stopped in Hot Springs at Evans Plunge and went swimming - both girls had a great time there (so did Andy and I)! From there we went to Prarie Winds and ate dinner and did a little gambling - my luck ended in Vegas - and headed back to Alliance! On Sunday we spent some time with my other Grandma, my Aunt Jill and Aunt Carolyn before heading back home! It was a whirlwind but a good time!

Las Vegas!!!

Andy got me a trip to Vegas for my 30th birthday! We went with our friends Amy Jo and Kelley! We spent some time by the pool, had a few great meals and drinks, went dancing and did a little gambling! I won $724 on the quarter slots at the airport on the day we left to come home! Lots of fun - looking forward to going back!
