Kayla's Last Day of 1st Grade

Kayla has officially passed the 1st grade and begun her summer! She was a little sad to see summer come - she really loves her teacher, but she has been enjoying the pool! 2nd grade will come soon enough!

Allie Graduates from Preschool

Allie graduated from preschool on Friday! That means she will be heading to kindergarten in the fall - yikes!

Grandpa Gets an Award

My dad got an award at the Annual Police Services Award Ceremony yesterday! Allie and I went, along with my mom!

Night out with the girls!

I went out with some girlfriends for my birthday! We had a great dinner and went to a bar for a few drinks! Thanks for a great time girls!!! On my birthday Andy played it off like he had made last minute plans for dinner - I fell for it and was mad, but to my surprise he planned dinner with my parents and our friends Amy and Kelley at the Melting Pot! It was soooo good and soooo much fun - AND I was suprised with a trip to Vegas at the end of the month! It was a huge accomplishment for him because I don't usually allow surprises!!! Thanks babe - I love you!!!

Dance Recital

Kayla and Allie had their dance recital at the Lincoln Center! They each had two dances - Allie did a tap and ballet and Kayla had two hip-hop dances - they did a fantastic job! We had two late nights in a row and are still recovering! We are now done with dance until the fall!

Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day in Denver at the Zoo and went to Casa Bonita for dinner! We had a great time and the weather was beautiful!

Mother's Day Tea at Preschool

Allie had a Mother's Day Tea celebration at school! It was very cute! They sang, gave us flowers they had planted and had tea and cookies!
