New Addition...

As some of you may know Allie suffers from allergies of all kinds. We recently found out that she had a severe allery to cats, which we have had a cat since she was just a few months old. So, needless to say we had to find a new home for our cat. Luckily my brother Brian was willing to take on the responsility! We also were advised to find a new home for our dog who was a cocker/lab mix because of her high reactions to cats. We all were very sad to see them go and have felt a bit of a void ever since. So, after doing some research and consulting the doctor, we found a bunch of dogs that were 100% hypo allergenic!

Welcome Max! He is a Yorkie/Bichon mix and is as cute as can be! He has made the girls very happy!!

Amy and Kayla's Trip to Chicago

Kayla and I went to Chicago for a long weekend with our friends Amy Jo and Lauren. We went to visit the American Girl store and to see some of the sites!! We had a really great time despite the frigid temperatures! Kayla was able to shop 'til she dropped at the American Girl store, we also at lunch and saw the American Girl Revue! One of the girls highlights was the Hershey store where they were able to custom make the biggest cupcake ever! We also went to the Sears Tower which was incredible. We were able to see lots of the sights while being warm inside! We had a really good time and hope to go back with the whole family sometime during a warmer season!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Well, here is the first goal of 2008 in the making. We thought we'd set up this blog to keep better connected with family and friends. Hope everyone had a great holiday season. We spent 10 days in Florida and had an absolutely wonderful time. We were able to visit Disney World, which is always a ton of fun - but it was even more magical over the holidays! We went to Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party and spent a couple days riding our favorite attractions over and over again!! Allie's favorite ride was Pirates of the Caribbean and Kayla's was Splash Mountain! After Disney we made our way south and went to Andy's parents lake house in Lake Placid, FL. We spent the night there, went for a ride on the lake and headed to their house in Plantation, FL. We spent the rest of our time there enjoying Christmas with Andy's dad and stepmom. We had a really great time!
